450° - Cremona per Monteverdi 2017
Music at the Monteverdi Festival and its productions, masterclasses, exhibitions, research. The whole town, public and private historical palaces, baroque churches and beautiful ‘secret’ gardens and courts will evoke Claudio Monteverdi’s life and age. With a project based on quality and networking, Cremona celebrates the 450° anniversary of Monteverdi’s birth. In the ‘Monteverdi year’, an original and rich programme will discover the creativity of the renowned Cremonese composer: an opportunity to nurture new creative strategies, launch and establish new cultural and touristic projects. A town rich of events, history and innovation, internationally acknowledged. A lively town bound to its past but relaunched towards the future.
